As part of the State CASA grant, board treasurer training is required for board treasurers who have been in their role for less than a year. KCN offers a virtual one-hour board treasurer training each year in the spring and fall. Although the session is geared toward new treasurers, any board treasurer who would like to attend is welcome. Topics include discussing the treasurer's duties and responsibilities, financial control policies, audit requirements, program budgets, and financial reporting.
