Planting Seeds for Kentucky CASA

Kick-off to the Kentucky State Fair: August 14, 2024, 6:00pm

The Kentucky CASA Network is partnering with Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture Jonathan Shell for the first Statewide Farm to Fork Dinner benefiting the Kentucky Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program. Funds raised from this event will be part of a new initiative of the KCN to provide direct economic support to children in foster care, allowing opportunities to participate and engage in agricultural tourism throughout the state. In addition to attending this year's State Fair, the fund will provide other types of educational opportunities and experiences for foster youth to learn about and experience Kentucky's agricultural roots.

The dinner will take place Wednesday, August 14, 2024, 6:00pm at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville (Harold Workman North Wing Lobby located on Freedom Way on the fairgrounds). Each ticket provides entry for one person. All tables for individual ticket holders will be open-seating on the day of the event. To guarantee seating with a group, you can purchase a full (8-person) table.

Purchasing an entire table secures tickets for up to 8 guests at a reserved table at the event. A representative will reach out as we get closer to the event for attendee names and contact information.
