Membership

Individual Membership: Friends of CASA

Kentuckians can join the Kentucky CASA Network with an individual membership as a Friend of CASA. Members pay annual dues to the KCN, helping to support our mission of providing CASA advocacy to children statewide. Friends of CASA members are provided the following:

  • Members receive regular updates from the KCN with important information and resources
  • The KCN invites members to network-wide events such as in-person conferences and the annual meeting
  • Opportunities to and resources for being a champion for the CASA mission statewide

Local Program Membership

Local CASA programs are independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that are formally approved for membership by both the Kentucky CASA Network and the National CASA/GAL Association for Children. Members pay annual dues to the KCN and are provided the following:

1. Technical Assistance

  • Members receive regular updates from the KCN with important information and resources
  • Ongoing technical assistance, information, and referral services tailored to each program's specific needs 

2. Advocacy & Support

  • The KCN promotes the interests of CASA volunteers and local programs with industry stakeholders
  • The KCN directs marketing campaigns to increase CASA visibility statewide

3. Training & Development

  • Quality Assurance reviews where the KCN and program stakeholders work collaboratively to strengthen your program
  • Training opportunities covering a range of topics, such as volunteer management, board development, financial reporting, HR issues, and more
  • Member programs are governed by the National CASA/GAL Association and Kentucky Revised Statutes
