Caring for Teens in Foster Care
Teenagers are fascinating creatures and yet many prefer not to foster teens. This training explains normal adolescent development, how teens are impacted by trauma, the challenges caregivers face, and offers solutions. You will receive tools you can start using today during this crazy time call adolescence. You may just walk away celebrating this wonderful human called “teenager.” This training is designed for foster and adoptive parents, any out-of-home caregivers, and is beneficial for support staff such as case managers and licensing workers. Note that this recorded training consists of 4 parts and all four should be viewed as part of the training.
