Preserving and Nurturing Cultural Connections in Children and Families
This session focuses on the importance of culture in shaping values, beliefs, self-awareness, and value for others. Utilizing the principle of cultural humility, parents and professionals have an opportunity to foster mutual respect and positive cross-cultural relationships. We will discuss diversity as a rich resource that we all have access to, and explore ways to nurture healthy cultural identity in children.
