Why am I Bias?
Embrace Families’ Diversity Action Team is committed to be the change we want to see for our kids, in our community, and in the world. The bias we aim to address and change is particularly difficult as so much of it is based on unconscious beliefs, associations or attitudes. Taking time to understand how this implicit bias colors our perceptions of those around is a critical first step. This training is designed to help us understand and address implicit bias, especially in the context of how it impacts the children and families we serve.
